Documentary Film Program Overview

The Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program (DFP) provides year-round support for independent documentary filmmakers through its Documentary Fund, residential Labs, and creative partnerships. The DFP grants $1.75 million each year for up to 50 films from around the globe,  invites more than 50 artists annually to its Labs in Sundance, Utah, and builds creative partnerships around the world to support emerging documentary movements.
